Directions for coming to IDRIS

IDRIS is located 25 km south-west of Paris on the campus of the Paris-Saclay University in Orsay (Essonne department - 91).

Waze et Google Maps know IDRIS, just enter “IDRIS Orsay”.

Directions if using public transportation

  • RER B train :

Several bus lines join IDRIS and different RER B stations:

  • Massy-Palaiseau : busline 91-06 ou 91-10 via Moulon, Université Paris Saclay stop (then 5/10 mn walk)
  • Le Guichet : busline 9, Université Paris Saclay stop(puis 5/10 mn walk)
  • Orsay Ville : busline 7, De Broglie stop (just near l'IDRIS). Attention ligne arrêtée pendant les vacances scolaires.
  • Gif-sur-Yvette et Chevry : busline 11, De Broglie stop

From RER B train “Le Guichet” station, you can go on foot to IDRIS (20 minutes walk): plan

  • RER C train :

From Jouy-en-Josas station : busline 9, Université Paris-Saclay stop. (then 5/10 mn walk)

Directions if you are coming by plane

Arriving at Orly airport:

There are two different ways to come to IDRIS from Orly airport:

  • Take the busline 91-10 leaving from Orly airport. (This bus also makes a stop at the RER B Massy-Palaiseau/TGV-Massy train station.) Get off the bus at the Université Paris-Saclay stop . IDRIS is a 10-minute walk following Joliot-Curie street, curving left onto Louis de Broglie street
  • Alternately, take the airport shuttle train called ORLYVAL. This automatic train runs between Orly airport and the RER B train station at Antony. After arriving at Antony, take the RER B train in the direction of St Remy les Chevreuse.

Arriving at Charles de Gaulle airport:

RER B train, in the direction of St-Rémy-les-Chevreuse. Follow indications given about coming with public transportation.
